To celebrate the theme, our residents will be sharing their wisdom with us. Each day, we’ll be presenting them with questions given to us by volunteers and we will be sharing their answers below.

For day three, we want to our therapy dog, Butch, who visits Potomac Falls regularly. He came today with inspirational letters and included his baseball card (below) with all his doggy stats! Thanks for brightening our day, Butch!

He asked for some wisdom for our National Skilled Nursing Care Week Question of the Day.

Butch asked: “What are some things people should keep in mind when getting a pet such as a cat or a dog for the first time”?

Craig said:  “You should not get a pet during a time when a lot is going on like the holidays. Pets need to be able to get acquainted with their new home.”

Barbara said:  “You want to research the pets breed to find out what their needs are and to find out about their health concerns.”
