Through a partnership with the Ceca Foundation, employees and guests can recognize caregivers by nominating them through an online system. Each quarter, a committee will review the nominations and chooses an individual to be a Ceca Award winner. This individual is someone, “who best exemplifies qualities of empathy, humor, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork in treating patient residents”.  The winner receives, not only, recognition from their peers but also a $250 monetary prize.

Memie Kailie, CNA Applicant

Here is what one of her nominations said about her:

“Memie is such a sweetheart and really loves her residents. When Mr. Temple, our LTC resident was in the hospital, she went to the hospital to shave him. She made it her mission to make sure he was comfortable when he returned to us as well. Memie is always willing to help when needed and is great with her residents.”
