Rehab Graduate Testimonial- Anthony Fitzgerald

“I’m very pleased with the excellent treatment I had received all the way around…”

I arrived at Potomac Falls Health and Rehab Center on June 9th following a five-day stay at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Over five bones were broken due to a motorcycle wreck – the right femur, some ribs, right shoulder blade, left wrist, and left ankle – leaving me non-weight-bearing on all limbs for 40 days. Two months later (August 10th), I was released from the rehab center able to walk out the front door with a cane, with the once-broken bones fully healed.

I’m very pleased with the excellent treatment I had received all the way around, from the 24/7 nursing care, meals, and in particular, the occupational and physical therapy, which I most directly attributed to my relatively swift progress. The therapists showed competence and creativity in challenging me to exert my maximum effort. As was the case with all PFHRC staff members with whom I would daily interact, they demonstrated professionalism and showed compassion. I felt they really cared about my welfare and that of my fellow residents. Going forward, I would proudly and without hesitation recommend PFHRC to my own family, friends, and colleagues.

Sincerely and respectfully,

Anthony FitzGerald
